đź’¨ Abstract
The Fairfax County School Board has approved a policy to demolish any uninhabitable buildings within three years. This affects Clifton Elementary School, closed since 2011 due to water quality issues and low enrollment. The school was deemed uninhabitable and has since been vandalized. The mayor and community members hope the land will become a park, but demolition faces challenges due to gas and water issues.
