💨 Abstract
Over $13 million in federal funding for Fairfax County Public Schools has been frozen, worrying school officials. The frozen funds, including grants for teacher development and multilingual learners, total over $13 million. If the review and freeze last too long some budgets for this school year may have to be altered. The U.S. Department of Education is conducting a review, though the specific reason is unclear after the allocations had already been made.
