💨 Abstract
The Fairfax County Park Authority is seeking "resident curators" for two historic homes: the 1750s Fairfax Arms Tavern and the 1823 Dranesville Tavern. In exchange for free rent, selected residents will commit to long-term maintenance and rehabilitation. Both taverns are significant historic sites, with the Fairfax Arms Tavern being the sole surviving structure from Old Colchester. Applications are available on the park authority’s website.
