💨 Abstract
A new study from Nationwide Children’s Hospital reveals that nicotine pouches, a growing trend, are increasingly causing nicotine poisoning in children under 6. Between 2020 and 2023, incidents involving nicotine pouches surged by over 760%. These pouches, discreet and sweet, have become the second most-used nicotine product among teens, though overall usage remains low.
