💨 Abstract
On July 14, 2025, Elmo's X account was hacked, leading to the posting of antisemitic and offensive messages. The tweets, which included calls for violence against Jews and references to Jeffrey Epstein, were removed, but screenshots spread widely. Sesame Workshop confirmed the hack and is working to regain control. This incident comes amidst a rise in antisemitic threats in the U.S., following recent events in Israel and Gaza.
