💨 Abstract
Carl “Ben” Nett, the Vice Mayor of Purcellville, Virginia, was arrested Wednesday night on multiple charges stemming from a Virginia State Police investigation authorized by Attorney General Jason Miyares. Nett was fired from the Purcellville police department in April for misusing sick leave. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest, which comes after Miyares requested the probe three months ago.
