💨 Abstract
Twenty Montgomery County Public School students were named National Merit Scholars, including Bethesda Chevy Chase High School senior Quinn C. Parker. Parker, who plans to pursue neurosurgery inspired by her grandmother's battle with dementia, found a mentor in Dr. Jennifer Parker Porter. Quinn credits her school's counselors, notably Mrs. Heald, for her academic and social success. She encourages others to believe in themselves.
