💨 Abstract

In the ongoing trial Sean "Diddy" Combs, his attorneys requested a mistrial claiming prosecutors implied he interfered with the investigation of rapper Kid Cudi’s firebombed Porsche in 2012. This happened after an arson investigator testified that fingerprints from the car were destroyed, though this was not standard protocol. Combs's lawyers suggested this was prejudicial, while the prosecution maintained it was to counter defense claims of a poor investigation.
