💨 Abstract
The new U.S. Justice Department's pardon attorney, Ed Martin Jr., announced plans to review the cases of Barry Croft Jr. and Adam Fox, who were sentenced to nearly 20 and 16 years respectively for plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in 2020. Martin described the men as “victims” and questioned the involvement of the FBI.
