đź’¨ Abstract
Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan, facing charges for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant evade immigration agents, has set up a donation fund for her legal defense, calling it an attack on judicial independence. Dugan was charged with obstruction and concealing a person to prevent arrest. She pleaded not guilty and has been suspended from her duties. Dugan aims to resume her work and accepts donations from U.S. citizens who do not have ties to Milwaukee County.
