💨 Abstract
An 82-year-old Colorado woman, Karen Diamond, died from injuries sustained in a Molotov cocktail attack during a pro-Israeli demonstration in Boulder. The attacker, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian national residing illegally in the U.S., was charged with 12 federal hate crime counts. Soliman allegedly intended to kill the demonstrators and was motivated by their perceived national origin. He is also facing state charges for attempted murder and other offenses.
