💨 Abstract
A Wisconsin man, Demetric D. Scott, has been charged with forging a threatening letter to President Donald Trump to falsely incriminate Ramón Morales Reyes and trigger his deportation. Prosecutors allege Scott wrote threatening letters using Morales Reyes's name, leading to the latter's arrest. Scott has been charged with witness intimidation, identity theft, and bail jumping. Morales Reyes, who does not speak English fluently, was cleared after a handwriting analysis.
