In 1985, Marty McFly famously rocked out at a 1955 dance in “Back to the Future” with a Cherry Red Gibson ES-345 guitar, which has since vanished. Now, 40 years later, Gibson Guitars is seeking public help to find the iconic instrument. The company is releasing a documentary, “Lost to the Future,” featuring pleas from the movie's stars.
