đź’¨ Abstract
A tropical weather system is moving toward the northern Gulf Coast, with a 40% chance of becoming a tropical depression. It is expected to bring heavy rainfall to Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, with New Orleans potentially receiving 3-5 inches of rain. Flooding is a significant concern. This comes after recent deadly floods in New York, New Jersey, and Texas. If the system becomes a named storm, it will be called Tropical Storm Dexter.
