💨 Abstract
After devastating floods in Texas, initial reports of over 160 missing people along the Guadalupe River were drastically reduced to three still unaccounted for. Kerr County officials attributed the high initial count to tourists who left the area without reporting their presence. The floods, which killed at least 135 people, particularly impacted Kerr County, with waters rising up to 26 feet and sweeping away structures.
