💨 Abstract
More than a dozen people were arrested in Cincinnati while protesting the detention of Ayman Soliman, a Muslim chaplain at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Soliman, an Egyptian immigrant, was detained after his asylum status was revoked due to his alleged ties to a group linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. He previously sought asylum in 2018 after facing persecution in Egypt. His detention has sparked protests and legal actions, with his supporters arguing that his asylum status was wrongfully terminated.
