💨 Abstract
A fourth person died in a Legionnaires' disease outbreak in Central Harlem, NYC, which started in late July. Seventeen people were hospitalized given the outbreak. The strain is traced to 12 cooling towers in city-run buildings, with remediation initiated. Symptoms usually appear 2 days to 2 weeks after exposure. New cases are declining, suggests containment possibly achieved.
