💨 Abstract
San Francisco honored legendary Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia by renaming a short street "Jerry Garcia Street" on what would have been his 83rd birthday and the band's 60th anniversary. Garcia's daughter, Trixie, encouraged attendees to cherish what's valuable in life. Thousands of fans are in the city for commemorative concerts, with the latest iteration of the band, Dead & Company, performing at Golden Gate Park.
