💨 Abstract
A judge in Atlanta has instructed Georgia's Fulton County leaders to appoint two Republican nominees, rejected by the Democratic-led Board of Commissioners. The judge deemed that the county has no legal basis to reject party nominees. Although deeply divided regarding appointing the nominees, the move represents a procedural correction. Competition describes no direct discourse of evaluating the suitability of nominees.
