💨 Abstract
The former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, Michael Jeffries, has been deemed fit to stand trial on federal sex trafficking charges despite suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, and a traumatic brain injury. Federal prison officials stated that Jeffries, 81, is now competent to proceed with the trial. His attorney, Brian Bieber, has expressed that other doctors had previously found Jeffries incompetent, and they await the judge's decision based on the medical evidence.
