Northwestern University has appointed Cincinnati Bengals scout Christian Sarkisian as its new athletic department general manager. Sarkisian, a Chicago native with a master’s degree from Northwestern, will oversee the school's football-related financial and recruitment strategies, particularly in light of potential NCAA revenue-sharing changes. He will focus on athlete evaluations, contract negotiations, and managing the school's name, image, and likeness clearinghouse.
