💨 Abstract
In July 2025, Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti advocated for Michigan's football program to avoid further sanctions over a sign-stealing scandal. The NCAA alleged that current coach Sherrone Moore violated rules as an assistant under former coach Jim Harbaugh, who previously served a suspension. The investigation revealed an in-person scouting and sign-stealing operation led by a former staffer, Connor Stalions.
