💨 Abstract

More than 70 people have been detained in Venezuela on allegations of threatening national security, according to Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello. The group includes both Venezuelans and foreigners. Among the detained is Juan Pablo Guanipa, a former congressman linked to opposition leader María Corina Machado. Cabello accused Guanipa of participating in a plot to disrupt upcoming elections but presented no evidence. Guanipa's social media account stated that he was unjustly imprisoned.
