💨 Abstract
The article discusses Florida's recent ban on adding fluoride to public water supplies, making it the second U.S. state to do so, following Utah. Governor Ron DeSantis signed the Florida Agricultural Law, which redefines water additives to exclude fluoride. Over 70% of Floridians previously received fluoridated water. While the CDC and WHO recommend fluoride for dental health, studies link high fluoride levels to neurobehavioral issues and lower IQ in children.
