💨 Abstract

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to release billions in funding for electric vehicle (EV) chargers in 14 states, reportedly frozen earlier in the year. The judge partly agreed with a lawsuit by 16 states and D.C., stating that the administration overstepped its authority by blocking congressionally approved funds. The court ruled that the funding could resume in most of the states, finding that the freeze was unconstitutional.
