💨 Abstract
The director of the NGO Cristosal, Noah Bullock, accused El Salvador's government, led by Nayib Bukele, of favoring the president's family. Bullock cited instances of family members holding diplomatic roles, suggesting a "regime" benefiting a family group. Cristosal suspended operations in El Salvador due to increased harassment of human rights advocates, they will now operate from Guatemala and Honduras. CNN sought the Salvadoran government's response but is awaiting a reply.
