💨 Abstract

The Atlantic hurricane season is set to escalate in August 2025, typically its most active month, although it has not yet produced a hurricane. The tropical storm Dexter, formed off the U.S. coast near Bermuda, is not expected to strengthen into a hurricane. Meteorologists are monitoring two other potential development zones, with favorable conditions emerging due to warmer sea temperatures and weakening high-altitude winds.
