💨 Abstract

The Perseid meteor shower, one of the year's best, will peak on August 12, 2025, but the bright moon may limit viewing to around 10-20 meteors per hour. Key viewing times are after sunset before the moon rises and before dawn on August 13. Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn will also be visible, with Venus and Jupiter in close conjunction. This year includes an eclipse lunar total and an eclipse solar parcial as well.
