💨 Abstract

Japanese pop idol Kenshin Kamimura was convicted of indecent assault on a female interpreter in Hong Kong. Kamimura, formerly of the boy group ONE N’ ONLY, was accused of repeatedly touching the interpreter's thigh during a dinner and inviting her to a bathroom, despite her refusal. Judge Peter Yu noted Kamimura's actions were "caressing" and had a "sexual undertone." Kamimura was fined $1,900 but avoided jail time.
