On the Chicago Board of Trade, grain futures were mostly higher in early trading. September soybeans and wheat showed gains, while corn saw a decline. Oats also experienced a slight increase. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, beef prices rose, but pork prices fell. October live cattle and September feeder cattle prices increased, whereas October hogs decreased.
