💨 Abstract

Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, suspected founder of the Sinaloa Cartel, plans to change his plea from innocent to guilty on August 25. This change comes after he was initially charged with 17 counts related to drug trafficking, money laundering, and firearms use back in September. authorities had previously decided not to seek the death penalty against Zambada or Rafael Caro Quintero.
