💨 Abstract
On August 8, 2025, Sgt. Quornelius Samentrio Radford, 28, opened fire at Fort Stewart in Georgia, injuring five fellow soldiers before being subdued. In text messages sent just before the incident, Radford mentioned ending his life and being in a "better place." He served as a logistics specialist with no combat deployment.
