💨 Abstract

Aaron Rodgers and several key Pittsburgh Steelers players will not play in their preseason opener in Jacksonville. Head coach Mike Tomlin wants to ease Rodgers into action despite his experience. The first-team offense has improved, making Tomlin comfortable with this decision. Rookie quarterback Will Howard is injured, with Logan Woodside signed to take some reps. The preseason debut will feature Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson seeing most of the action.
