💨 Abstract
France's highest court has blocked part of a controversial farming law that aimed to reinstate a banned pesticide, acetamiprid, citing insufficient environmental protections. The law, known as the "Duplomb law," faced strong opposition from scientists and green groups due to acetamiprid's harm to bees. Despite government and farming union support, a student-led petition gathered over 2 million signatures against it.
