💨 Abstract
TikTok has agreed to sell its U.S. operations to a consortium of American investors, including Oracle, Silver Lake, and MGX. The deal, expected to close on January 22, 2026, will see the new TikTok U.S. joint venture held 50% by the new investors, 30.1% by existing ByteDance investors, and 19.9% retained by ByteDance.
