đź’¨ Abstract
On Sunday, Nathan Eovaldi pitched seven shutout innings, and Marcus Semien and Josh Jung hit two-run home runs as the Texas Rangers defeated the Detroit Tigers 6-1. Eovaldi limited the Tigers to two hits and struck out seven, extending his streak of quality starts. Jung's home run was notable as it was the first by a player facing his brother's team on Mother's Day since 1969.
