On June 28, 2025, former French midfielder Paul Pogba joined Monaco on a two-year contract at 32, aiming to restart his career after injuries and a doping ban. Pogba, a former Manchester United and Juventus player, will play in Ligue 1 for the first time. Monaco, finishing third in the 2024-25 season, hopes to challenge for the title, and Pogba aims to return to the Champions League.
