💨 Abstract
Cristopher Sánchez pitched eight excellent innings, and Kyle Schwarber hit his 38th homer, leading the Philadelphia Phillies to a 2-0 victory over the Detroit Tigers. The Phillies moved back into first place in the NL East, half a game ahead of the New York Mets. Sánchez allowed only one baserunner to reach third and struck out six. Jhoan Duran, who was acquired from Minnesota, sealed the win with his second save for the Phillies.
