💨 Abstract
In Michigan, wildlife experts successfully rescued a black bear that had been wearing a large plastic lid around its neck for two years. The bear, first spotted as a cub, was finally trapped and the lid was removed on June 3. Despite the hardship, the bear was in surprisingly good condition, able to feed itself and survive winters. The exact cause of the lid getting stuck and how the bear managed to endure it remain unknown.
