The D.C. region will experience a hot, humid Wednesday transitioning to heavy rain, thunderstorms, and possible flash flooding as temperatures fall from the 80s to 70s in the evening. Rain totals are expected to be between 0.5 to 1.5 inches. Thursday will be hot again, with a chance of thunderstorms. Friday and Saturday are expected to be sunny and warm, with temperatures around 90°F.
