💨 Abstract
In a significant change for "Doctor Who," Ncuti Gatwa will exit the lead role after two seasons. The season finale revealed a return of Billie Piper, previously known as Rose Tyler, with her new role remaining secret. Gatwa becomes the first Black actor to play the Doctor, following Jo Martin who appeared as "Fugitive Doctor." Davies said Piper's return is an "honor and a hoot," but the specifics are yet to be revealed.
