💨 Abstract
Ecuador's National Police arrested six relatives of José Adolfo Macías, alias “Fito,” the leader of the criminal gang Los Choneros. The operation, involving 33 raids and the seizure of numerous vehicles and properties, aimed to dismantle Macías' criminal structure. Those detained are accused of money laundering and include Macías' partner, brother, and in-laws.
