💨 Abstract
In Mali, military personnel allegedly executed at least 22 men in the central region's Diafarabé village. Soldiers seized the men from a market, and their decomposing bodies were later found in mass graves. Diafarabé, predominantly Fulani, faces regular attacks from extremist groups. This incident, and similar ones, have alarmed Human Rights Watch, which demands an independent investigation, criticizing the military's lack of accountability in human rights abuses.
