💨 Abstract
On Tuesday 27.05.2025, a judge, Ehsum Bagheri, was stabbed and killed while heading to work in Shiraz, Iran. The attack, labeled a "terrorist act" by state media, was carried out by two unidentified assailants. Bagheri previously worked as a prosecutor handling security and drug cases. No group has claimed responsibility. This incident follows a January attack in Tehran where two prominent judges were shot.
