💨 Abstract
An arson attack on an electrical facility in Nice, France, caused a major power outage, affecting 45,000 households. The blackout also disrupted public transportation and the Nice Côte d’Azur airport. The incident follows a similar outage in Cannes during the film festival, where 160,000 homes were temporarily without power. Nice officials have increased security for electrical infrastructure and are investigating the attacks.
