💨 Abstract
Heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan caused flash floods, sweeping away tourist vehicles and killing at least three people with 15 missing. Since June 26, over 225 have died and more than 500 injured. Climate change is worsening extreme weather events there. On Monday, floods and landslides blocked a major highway, stranding over 200 tourists who were later rescued. Authorities warn of potential repeats of 2022's devastating floods.
