💨 Abstract

In Hassakeh, Syria, hundreds of representatives from various ethnic and religious groups convened to demand a decentralized state and a new constitution ensuring pluralism. Following President Bashar al-Assad's fall, there have been violent attacks on minorities, leading to calls for a federal or decentralized system to safeguard religious and cultural rights. The conference aimed to advocate for civil peace and national reconciliation, with participants condemning violence and urging democratic reforms.
