💨 Abstract
Apple has alerted iPhone users (over 1.8 billion) about a security vulnerability in their operating system that could expose personal data. The iOS 18.5 update, released on May 12, addresses this issue. It fixes vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-31251 and CVE-2025-31233) that could allow malware hidden in media files to harm apps and device memory.
