💨 Abstract
After over 160 years in business, WH Mogford & Son, a historic hardware shop in Bristol, is set to close by September 2025. Owner Paul Gillam cited declining customer numbers, rising costs, and deteriorating premises as reasons for the closure. The shop, known for its extensive range of DIY, gardening, and pet supplies, has been a beloved local spot.
