💨 Abstract
Parts of the UK will experience a heatwave this weekend, with temperatures potentially reaching 32°C in England and Wales before cooling slightly next week. The heatwave, driven by high pressure from the Atlantic, is expected to be more extensive and long-lasting than previous ones this year, affecting a larger part of the UK, including Scotland. The Met Office has warned of "uncomfortable warm nights" over the weekend, with high pollen and UV levels in some areas.
